Product: Officejet Pro 8600 Plus
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I have a Officejet Pro 8600 Plus and just bought a Mac with Catalina OS 10.15.02. The printer is wireless and is an all in one printer.

 

1.  I am able to print with no problem. but when I try to scan with both Image Capture or through HP Easy Scan my printer does not show up.  My printer is on and the wireless is working.

 

2. When I installed the HP Easy Care software I could not load the HP Drivers after installing HP Easy Star. I get an error message that say cannot configure the device software.

 

Could use some help. Thanks

Sorry I just saw another post which help tremendously but now the scanner will only scan when I use the auto document feeder 

 

any way to get it to use the flat bed also
