Printer is wireless connected to computer since it will print and scan from computer commands. When I request scan from printer to computer...message cannot connect to computer...check connections.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I finally shut down (unplugged) my router, printer and computer for 30+ seconds. Plugged the router back in, when it was up and ready, plugged in Computer and Printer. Tested print command and scan command from computer...worked fine...Big test....requested scan from the printer....It connected to the computer, scanned....ALL IS WELL! 🙂

Have you read this document? http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00040499
It might help. Usually if you can print, but no scan... you need to uninstall the full feature software and install it again after shutting down and restarting the computer. THis usually works.
Please post rather than send me a message. It's good for the community and I might not be able to get back quickly. - Thank you.
