After doing a bit of research, it seems as though HP are not including a PDF option on their scanning software. Does anyone know why and what I can do about it?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP forum.

Can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:

http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-4500-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5304875/mod...


Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

 

The following resources will help you on your scanning.(it's using the same software as your Envy 4500)

Hi,

 

Yes it has. Have you installed software and driver for your printer on your computer yet ? You have to do that first using the CD or download from the printer homehage:

 

    http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL47762/mp-115701-6/EN4500_198.exe
