My HP Envy 7640 when scanning has a  printed line that goes down the side of it and I have tried everything to fix it so now here I am on the forum asking for help cause I am at whits with fixing it the problem just started a few weeks ago not sure if there was an update that has cause it or not but if anyone can help me find a solution in fixing it would be appreciated. I have unistalled and reinstalled all software and drivers for the printer and still it is doing it.

What is happening is a printed line on the edge of anything I scan whether it be on the flatbed or the tray I can not seem to figure it out.
