HP Envy 6230
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I open a word document and I can print to my printer over wifi.

I open the Hp Smart  software  version 121.1.193.0 I can see the printer in wifi.

If I click on "Printer Settings", I can see its settings.

If I click on "Scan" and then "Scan", on the printer the scanning starts but in Hp smart appears: "Problem with the scanner has been detected. Restart the printer and try again If the problem persists, visit the Hp support website. "

I uninstalled the Hp Smart. Restart the pc,  I reinstalled Hp Smart but still same problem with the scanner.

When I used HP scan soft the scanning is OK:

How to solve this issue with  HP Smart Soft?

Thanks for your help.

@Calmet, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

This looks like an issue with the HP Smart app as you are able to scan from the HP Scan software.

Check for any pending windows updates, reboot the PC

Reinstall the HP Smart app from Microsoft Store and try scanning.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
