HI!
It will suddently only scan in too small pictures to my Paint Shop Pro program.
I installed a new driver. Said a fatal error and never finnished the installation.
Tried to reinstall the old Driver. Then it couldnt find the scanner.
Removed all the filed about the driver, both from Program files x86 and from Program files. Then it installed ok, BUT I can still not get bigger images than around 637 x 825 pixels. Way too small pictures... I cannot chose anything over A4 size. It isnt on the list. Hope you will be so kind and help me with this problem.

Hi,
Could you clarify your priner model please?
May you see any difference once changing the Source from automatic Document Feeder (If Loaded) to Flatbed Glass?

Hi,
What size are you looking for?
As I can see from your attached screenshot A4 and Legal are listed, US Legal is the largest original size supported by the Laserjet M277...

I can see the same as you can see, but I have had this scanner since February and I have never had problem with the size, before my son mounted a hub to my computer. ( This is unplugged again before i tried all these things)
I have scanned ALOT of stuff and I have always needed to resize down my pictures, but not as low as to what is written there. I simply cannot understand why. And why do you mention US Legal.....(dont know what it means) Is there another legal? Sorry for asking a stupid question. I am Danish

Hi,
Please select A4 (210 x 197 mm) from the list instead of 'Auto Detect Size' which is currently selected...
Press the disk icon near the scan shortcut name on the left pane to save the changes, then press Scan.
May you see any difference?

No change. Just the ordinary A4 size came out of that. With or without flatbed on.
Is it possible to find a Scanning program that allows better solution?
I just cannot believe, that I purchased this huge HP monster of a printer /scanner/ fax.... and some sunny day, it gives me no opportunities to scan larger pictures than A4 just because I updated the driver.
I seems this program will only give me the small pictures now... and I am scanning my art and it is needed to be possible to see details and not a view from distance, and you cannot do that in a tiny picture that is not bigger than A4. It is so very disappointing.
I find nowhere , that I can see info about scanner sizes or solution on the internet?

Hi,
The printer do not support larger sizes than A4 / Legal, that is clearly listed by its specifications:
Maximum scan size:
Scanner glass: 216 x 297 mm (8.5 x 11.7 in)
ADF: 216 x 356 mm (8.5 x 14 in)
Once changing to Flatbed Glass, please try selecting an higher resolution such as 600 DPI, I would guess that might be the difference by your description..
