Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.
HP Recommended
Example: Hp envy 5055

Please I urgently need to scan some documents with a definition of 400dpi. My scanner setting only allows to choose from a drop down list which moves from 300 and then the next size up is 600dpi. This makes the documents too large and I keep getting a failure email delivery when I send the attachments.

Kindly help with the manual settings.

Hi,

You cannot scan with 400dpi using HP Scan software

The HP Software offers a predefined set of resolutions, 600 is the next possible option after 300 ppi, you cannot select any middle resolution and this is how the HP Software works by design.

You may check the 3rd party NAPS2 application as a workaround, as much as I aware it should allow selecting 400dpi as a resolution and may provide you a better fit for your needs:
