I just upgraded from an HP Envy 7858 to an OfficeJet Pro 9018e.

 

Two questions... 

1. I am used to scanning several photos on the glass at one time. With the 7858 each picture would save independent of the others. However, I cannot seem to make that happen on the new printer. Can anyone tell me how to make that happen?

 

Also - I noticed that on the scanner glass there are no guides! Is this correct? Or am I missing something? How can I make sure my scan is straight without guides?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Can you download and install the HP FULL Solution Software for your operating system:
https://support.hp.com/sg-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-officejet-pro-9010e-all-in-one-printer...


Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

 

For scanning multiple photos, the following settings are needed:

The  datum is at the top left hand corner.  The design allows the photos/documents to be scanned to slide off the scan glass easily.
