the link isnt helping me bacause im not wirelessly connect. im connected to the print with a usb cable. can i still scan

As another user stated below, my computer is not hooked up to the internet. I need to use the USB cord to connect the printer to my chromebook. How do I scan an image to my computer in that case? thank you!
