Hello.
The scan function of my Neverstop Laser MFP 1200 always worked fine but today started to hang when trying to save the PDF file on disk.
In fact, the hang occurs just at the end of the scanning cycle and i t simply remains still in the scan page with the "Save" button disabled. I also tried to run the "HP Scan" program as administrator but nothing changed.
I tried to perform the scan in JPEG format and it worked perfectly.

Any ideas ?

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

  1. shut down printer via on/off switch
  2. switch off the router
  3. shut down the computer
  4. wait about 60 sec.
  5. switch on the router, wait until the router has completely initialized itself again
  6. Switch on the printer, wait until the printer has finished its initialization
  7. switch on computer, log in (with admin rights) and wait about 10 sec.

... and now everything's working again?

 

If not, has the shortcut for "Save as PDF" been changed?

And what settings have been changed.
