Hi @dnav,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are trying to scan multiple pages into a single file and email them from your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025, you can use the printer's scan-to-email feature more effectively or troubleshoot why you can't scan to your computer for better control over the process. Here's how:

1. Troubleshoot Scan to Computer

  • Ensure HP Software is Installed: Download and install the HP Smart app or the full-feature software for your printer from HP's website.
  • Enable Scan to Computer:
    1. Open the HP Smart app or the printer software.
    2. Go to the Scan section and look for an option like Manage Scan to Computer.
    3. Make sure the feature is turned on and your computer is listed.

This will allow you to scan multiple pages to a file on your computer and email it using your preferred email client.

2. Scan Multiple Pages with Scan to Email

If you're limited to scan-to-email:

Enable Multi-Page Scanning:

  1. Access the printer's control panel and select Scan > Email.
  2. After scanning the first page, look for an option like Add Pages or Continue Scanning.
  3. Scan all pages before finishing and sending the email.

Adjust Scan Settings: Ensure the scanning mode supports multiple pages. For example:

  • Choose PDF format instead of JPEG or PNG.
  • Use the automatic document feeder (ADF) for multi-page scanning (if available).

3. Scan to USB or Network

As an alternative, you can:

  1. Scan the multi-page document to a USB drive connected to the printer.
  2. Transfer the file to your computer and email it manually.

If the printer supports network scanning, configure that in the settings for a similar result.

4. Check Email Configuration

  • Ensure your email profile is correctly set up on the printer.
  • Confirm the printer supports multi-page attachments for email scanning. If not, scanning to a computer is the better approach.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
