Hi @xmadison28,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're encountering issues where only the first page is being scanned and the subsequent pages are not visible, there could be a few reasons behind this. Here's what you can try.

  • Check scanner settings: Ensure that the scanner settings are configured correctly. Sometimes, scanners have settings that limit the number of pages scanned at once. Check the settings to ensure that it's set to scan multiple pages.
  • Scanner software: Use the appropriate scanning software provided by HP for your ENVY Photo 7855. Make sure you're using the latest version of the software. Sometimes, outdated software can cause issues with scanning multiple pages.
  • Document feeder: If your scanner has an automatic document feeder (ADF), ensure that it's properly loaded with all the pages you want to scan. Sometimes, if the pages are not properly loaded, the scanner might only detect the first page.
  • File format: Ensure that you're selecting a file format that supports multiple pages, such as PDF. If you're scanning to a format like JPEG or TIFF, each page might overwrite the previous one, resulting in only the last scanned page being visible.
  • Scan preview: Before finalizing the scan, check the preview to ensure that all pages are being detected by the scanner. If not, adjust the settings or reload the pages and try again.
  • Driver update: Ensure that your printer's drivers are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues with scanning multiple pages.
  • Scanner calibration: If none of the above steps work, consider calibrating your scanner. This process varies depending on the scanner model, so refer to the user manual for instructions.
  • Test with another device: If possible, try scanning the same set of pages using another device (if available), such as a smartphone or another computer. This can help determine if the issue lies with the scanner or the computer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
