Hi,
I would like to schedule faxes to be sent in the evening in order not to block any landline capacity.
When I send the fax from the device itself this works just fine. But when I use the same functionalyity via Print --> Fax on my Mac the scheduling only works as long as the Mac is turned on. How do I use the printers built-in buffer via the Mac's print command?
Thank you!

@Cerfd, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
This is as per design. If you want to send a scheduled fax from the MAC, MAC should be powered ON. The data is transferred to the printer only at the scheduled time. Until then it is saved in computer's memory using the printer software. For more info on fax features, refer to page 51 of the user guide.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

You can easily send a single- or multiple-page black-and-white or color fax by using the printer control panel.
NOTE: Send single-page faxes by placing the original on the glass. Send multiple page faxes using the document feeder.
NOTE: If you need printed confirmation that your faxes were successfully sent, fax confirmation must be enabled.
To send a standard fax from the printer control panel
1. Load your original print-side down on the scanner glass or print-side up in the document feeder.
2. From the printer control panel display, touch Fax .
3. Touch Send Now or send later
. 4. Enter the fax number by using the keypad or by selecting from the phone book TIP: To add a pause in the fax number you are entering, touch * repeatedly, until a dash (-) appears on the display.
5. Touch Black or Color . If the printer detects an original loaded in the document feeder, it sends the document to the number you entered.
TIP: If the recipient reports issues with the quality of the fax, try changing the resolution or contrast of your fax.
