The ZEEN on my printer "Blew-up" and now I can't access the fax feature on my printer. I had a fax sent and can get it on eFax which the printer uses but do not know how to send one via their website without the printer. Is this possible? BTW I had a discussion going on a different section but then a message said that section was archived so I couldn't continue my discussion. "sea-wind" mentioned I could email to myself and to eFAX the fax I wanted to send but I conldn't answer him back.

The only solution I can come up with is to purchase a USB Fax Modem and register that on my Mac as a fax printer. I can still receive a fax through eFax since the account is now a "Free" account that only receives so I don't have to change my fax number to receive faxes. The donigle is as low as $10 on Amazon. Also, I use Callcentric as my VOIP and they have a free service that will email the fax to me if someone sends a fax through my VOIP number. It's a simple work around so now I don't even need the ZEEN. THANKS TO ALL WHO RESPONDED.

Hi,

The eFax service has retired a while ago and no longer supported by your printer as described below:

https://support.hp.com/hk-en/document/c03102078

you may fax directly from your PC using eFax or any other service, but not affiliated with your HP printer in any way,

You may check the eFax service or any other 3rd party fax service, but there might be a fee for using their service:

HI Shiomil,

In another post I was directed to try to login which I was able to do. I also was able to receive a fax sent to me a few days ago. So maybe there is another way to send a fax on eFax without using the printer. This particular printer was very expensive and it's a bummer it only lasted 7 years. It still is usable without the Zeen but is limited. Also there is no software for the iMac that will let me fax from my PC using the printer that I'm aware of.
