Send scan to email

I can not send the scan to e-mail, HP can not find the mail client, although it (Thunderbird) is installed by Default.

Is the Scan-to-Email feature supported and set up?

Read

HP Printers - How to Scan (Windows)

Consider / Try / Check

If using Gmail, 

Remove "Two-Step Verification"

Add "Allow less secure apps"

OR

Set an App Password

Next...

Settings > Apps > Default Apps

Set Email default as "Thunderbird"

Next...

Open Thunderbird > Check / Adjust the login and smtp settings

Scan or Import the item from the Scanner (printer) or from a Folder
Adjust the boundaries around the scan / object
Select the type of file (PDF or JPG)
