Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand, you would like to receive fax to your email.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

What is the operating system on PC?

You could set up HP Digital Fax

With HP Digital Fax, the printer automatically receives faxes and saves them directly to a network folder (Fax to Network Folder) or forwards them as email attachments (Fax to Email).

NOTE: You can configure HP Digital Fax to use either Fax to Network Folder or to use Fax to Email. You cannot use both at the same time.

Received faxes are saved as TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) or PDF files.

NOTE: HP Digital Fax supports receiving black-and-white faxes only. Color faxes are printed instead of being saved.

To set up HP Digital Fax from the printer software (Windows)

1. Open the HP printer software.

2. Click Print, Scan & Fax, and then click Fax.

3. Click Digital Fax Setup.

4. Follow the onscreen instructions.

NOTE: After you have set up HP Digital Fax, you can use the printer’s embedded web server (EWS) to edit HP Digital Fax settings. To open the EWS automatically, select the Launch embedded web server when finished checkbox on the last screen of the Digital Fax Setup Wizard. When you click Finish, the EWS is displayed in your computer’s default web browser. For more information about the EWS

To set up HP Digital Fax from the printer software (OS X)

1. Open HP Utility.

2. Click Digital Fax Archive.

3. Follow the onscreen instructions.

4. After you have entered the required information, click Save and Test to make sure the link to the network folder is working correctly.

To set up HP Digital Fax from Embedded web server (EWS)

1. Open the embedded web server (EWS). Find out the IP address or hostname of the printer by touching (Wireless) or (Ethernet) or by printing a network configuration page. NOTE: The printer must be on a network and must have an IP address.

In a supported web browser on your computer, type the IP address or hostname assigned to the printer.

For example, if the IP address is 123.123.123.123, type the following address into the web browser: http://123.123.123.123.

2. On the Home tab, click Fax to Email/Network Folder in the Setup box.

3. Follow the onscreen instructions.

4. After you have entered the required information, click Save and Test to make sure the link to the network folder is working correctly.

For more information, you could refer to User Guide (Page Number 14 and 15): http://hp.care/2tCBD2r.

Hope this helps 🙂

Cheers 😉
