We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

At some point not too long ago, my scan to email function stopped working and delivers a message of Server Failure.  I have spent countless hours to no avail.  I have tried on a PC using **bleep** and AOL.  

The system worked great with my mac and aol for years and then nothing but errors.

I'd like to help!

 

Try the below steps -

 

Let's try a power reset on the printer

 

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

 Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

 

Try and set up scan to email again, refer to the documentMac OS - Configuring Scan to E-Mail (The product may be different but the steps remain the same)
