Cannot activate SCAN, click in the icon in HP Smart and it asks me to sign in??? why?? the AIO 7220e is only used in local and switched off when not in use. the AIO is used by all the family with various device OSs

I understand that you are unable to scan using the HP Smart app, I am glad to assist you.
Which version of HP smart app are you using?
Update the HP Smart app, if that does not work.
Uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart app
Here are the steps:- Click here
Update the Mac OS
- From the Apple menu in the corner of your screen, choose System Preferences.
- Click Software Update in the System Preferences window. Can't find Software Update?
- Software Update now checks for new software.
