I am trying to setup scan to network. I can see this option on the printer and in the old printer I had I could set them up from the EWS. I also note that on earlier 9020 series printers that was the way to do it. 

on this model the EWS is totally different. The scan to network folder option only allows you to set the defaults for the scan and not the option to set them up.

i spoke to HP support and they also don’t seem to have a solution. They did try hard to help. 

anyone had the same issues and resolved it?

Yes, this series features a different EWS format.

 

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Section Scan > Scan to Network Folder (Job Defaults)

and

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Section Quick Sets > Add / Edit / Copy / Delete Quick Set Profile
