can not set up the scan to network- have read all older threads and tried way too many times- and just get a setup unsuccessful.

\\IDEA-PC\Scan to Network    have  tried many other links as well. all the same- have set up file share as well

help please???

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

I recommend you enable SMB on your computer. Follow the below steps to Enable SMB.

 

Programs and features > turn on windows feature > SMB 1.0 CIFS Server > reboot PC.
