File size too big no matter what maximum size of attachment is selected or the DPI setting set to the lowest - it just point blank refuses to send an email

The error in HP Smart: The size of the file is too large. Reduce file size or free up hard disk space and try again.

First what hard disk? Second as I stated I have reduced EVERYTHING to the lowest setting and still the same error message

This happens on the test option as well as scanning from the printer - How do I reduce the 'test' file size HP?
