I have an iMac. After the last update to my printer- all - in -one. I am no longer able to straighten a scan on my computer. The slider at at the bottom of the edit page does not move. Only boxes show up when I click on the hash marks. Can anyone help?

Update Printer Software:
- Ensure that your HP ENVY Photo 7855 has the latest firmware installed. Visit the HP support website and download the latest software and drivers for your printer.
Check for Software Updates on iMac:
- Make sure your iMac has the latest operating system updates installed. Go to "System Preferences" > "Software Update" to check for any available updates.
Reset Printing System:
- Open "System Preferences" on your iMac.
- Select "Printers & Scanners."
- Right-click (or Control-click) on the list of printers on the left and choose "Reset printing system."
- Confirm the action and then re-add your printer.
Reinstall Printer Software:
- Uninstall the current HP printer software from your iMac.
- Visit the official HP website, download the latest software for your printer model, and install it.
Check Scanner Settings:
- Open the HP Easy Scan or any scanning software you are using.
- Look for settings related to straightening or cropping and ensure they are configured correctly.
Use Alternate Scanning Software:
- Try using other scanning software on your iMac, like Preview or VueScan, to see if the issue is specific to the HP software.
Check for Third-Party Software Conflicts:
- Ensure that no third-party software or security programs are interfering with the scanning functionality.
Review Release Notes:
- Check the release notes for the recent update to see if there are any known issues related to scanning or the specific problem you are facing.
