Any time I use the auto feeder the paper has streaks in the middle of the page. The printer is less than 2 months old.

A very warm welcome to the HP community. A very good day to you. 🙂
I understand that you have an HP OfficeJet Pro 6975 All-in-One Printer and everytime you use the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder), the paper has streaks in the middle of the page. I'll do my best to help you with your HP printer.
I would like to know the following information to assist you better:
- Did any hardware changes take place on the printer (paper jam, etc) after which this issue started?
- Does this happen while printing and copying?
Meanwhile, I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:
- Disconnect the power cable from the printer while the printer is still ON.
- Disconnect any other cables if connected the printer.
- Press and hold the printer’s power button for 15 seconds.
- The printer should be directly connected to the wall outlet and not to a surge protector. Reconnect the power cable to print and the printer should power ON by itself. If the printer doesn’t power ON then please manually power it ON.
Now, please clean the ADF as described in "Step 2" of this link.
I hope this helps. Let me know what happens. Cheers! 🙂
