Hello,

I can't install (error) the driver LJMFP28x0OSX10.5Update-v8.2.dmg for a ColorLaserjet 2840 under Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks.

Hi,

The HP Color Laserjet 2840 printer is only supported for Print & Fax only, scanning is not supported on Mavericks and cannot be used with any newer macOS version.

Thanks for your answer: I am aware that the scanner is no longer supported by HP.

 

As stated in the OP, I'm just looking for the file provided by Stux in 2013, whose link is no longer active in the archived thread.
