Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.
HP Recommended

I've set up network folders for myself and my coworker - mine works perfectly, but I'm unable to get the printer to scan to my coworker's computer.

The odd thing is that the Network folder connection test in the web portal says the test is successful. But when I attempt to scan to that folder, the printer says "Permission: User privilege error".

I can't figure out what is different from my computer and theirs.

I am even able to connect to their network folder via my PC in File Explorer. I'm using the same credentials in the web portal to connect, which tests fine, but then the printer won't succeed with the same credentials.  Any help appreciated!

Thank you for the reply, although my issue wasn't domain related. However, I have resolved my issue by creating a separate windows account just for scanning and then sharing access from that folder to the main user. Everything works now, Thank you.

Is this an active directory domain or a simple peer to peer network? What operating systems are installed on the work stations?  I have run into cases where the system will not scan unless you are entering the credentials  as

domain\user name  (where domain is either the AD domain or is the workstation name in the case of peer to peer networking.
