Product: HP LaserJet 400 MFT M425dn
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a customer who has HP LaserJet 400 MFT M425dn and Nitro PDF Pro is not detecting/recognizing the scanner.

 

The said they have installed the latest Full Installer Package version 15.0.15189.1460 from below page but that did not help: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-pro-400-mfp-m425/5096243/model/5096244

 

Nitro PDF Pro requires TWAIN or WMI compatible driver in order for it to be recognized.

 

Anyone who can help out?

Hi,

The HP LaserJet Pro 400 MFP M425 Printer Series Full Software Solution indeed includes Twain capabilities as part of the installed HP Scan software (https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL42958/ma-104479-5/LJPro-MFP-M425_full_solution_15189.ex...)

 

If you still not able to use Twain following a successful installation, try following below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer and then selecting Fix Scanning, follow any suggested steps to troubleshoot:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe

 

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

 

If the test indicate any problem and cannot automatically fix it, be sure to provide the exact error and information listed
