Hi @Nate41444,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Slow printing can be frustrating, but there are several potential causes and solutions for this issue.

  • Network Connection: Slow network connection can cause delays in printing. Make sure your printer is connected to a stable and fast network, preferably via Ethernet cable for the best performance. If you're using a wireless connection, try moving the printer closer to the router to improve signal strength.
  • Printer Driver: Ensure that you have the latest printer driver installed on your computer. Outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues and slow printing. Visit the HP website to download and install the latest driver for your OfficeJet Pro 9125e model.
  • Printer Settings: Check the printer settings to see if there are any settings that might be causing delays. For example, if the printer is set to high-quality printing, it may take longer to process print jobs. Adjust the settings to a lower quality or draft mode to see if it improves printing speed.
  • Printer Queue: Sometimes, the print queue can get backed up, especially if you're printing large files or multiple documents at once. Open the print queue on your computer and cancel any pending print jobs that you don't need. This can help speed up printing by allowing the printer to focus on the current job.
  • Firmware Update: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Firmware updates often include performance improvements and bug fixes that can help speed up printing.
  • Printer Hardware: If none of the above solutions work, there may be a hardware issue with the printer itself.

By troubleshooting these potential causes, you should be able to improve the printing speed of your HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
