This is a heads-up for this printer (and maybe others). All of a sudden today my printer gave me the above message when I tried to scan. However, I could print without a problem (printer is connected to computer via USB).

Turns out that last night (11/14/22) Microsoft installed a new update on my computer "Feature update to Windows 10 22H2 via Enablement Package [KB 5015684])". So I deleted the update and guess what? My scanning function works again.
