Hi @JZE123 ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're encountering an issue with scanning on your new HP Smart Tank 7602 printer. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
- Check Compatibility: Ensure that your printer model supports scanning and that it is compatible with your Macbook running Sonoma 14.3. You can check the printer's specifications on HP's official website or in the printer's manual.
- Update Drivers: Make sure you have the latest drivers and software installed for your printer. Sometimes, compatibility issues arise due to outdated drivers. You can visit the HP support website and download the latest drivers for your printer model. Software and Drivers for HP Smart Tank 7602 All-in-One
- Verify Connection: Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your Macbook. If you're using a USB connection, make sure the cable is securely plugged in. If you're using a wireless connection, check that your printer is connected to the same network as your Macbook.
- Restart Devices: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Try restarting both your printer and your Macbook and then attempt scanning again.
- Check Settings: Make sure that the scanning settings on your printer are correctly configured. You may need to access the printer's control panel or settings menu to adjust the scanning options.
