I have owned an HP Deskjet 2630 for a month and, until recently, it didn't ask for a password for WIFI Direct printing. And now i had to print my document from my phone and it asks a password for direct printing. I did not set any password too.

WiFi Direct is used to connect the printer wirelessly without a router (home network).

Start on Page 65 in Section Connect wirelessly to the printer without a router

When Wi-Fi Direct is turned on, the Wi-Fi Direct icon on the display stays on. To find the Wi-Fi Direct name and password, press the Information button () to print a printer information page.
