When using scan I can only scan from the bed not the multi tray

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Have you tried making copies from the ADF?
  • Are you using the HP Smart app to scan? 
  • Are you getting any errors while scanning?
