I used to have HP software which was brilliant - I could scan double-sided pages. Once it had scanned the obverse sides, it automatically asked me to put the pages in again to do the reverse sides. It reordered the pages, and I could save - no problem.
Since upgrading my computer, and using a newer scan programme (HP Scan and Capture), I can only do single-sided scans - even though I have input 'Duplex Scan' in my settings - it seems to only work if the printer has duplex built in.
How can I get this new software to do what I could do with the previous software?
And if that's not possible, how can I get back to what I had?

Thanks for using the HP Support Community. The software described is the HP FULL solution software.
Can you download and install the FULL featured printer software from HP for your operating system:
https://support.hp.com/sg-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-color-laserjet-pro-mfp-m277-series/708...
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
