I go to the 2 sided place on control panel and have tried to print 2 differnt originals to 1 sheet...I have tried putting 2 originals in the slot on top of the unit both face down, andalso tried with both face up, I put 1 in the upper slot and 1 inside the copier to NO AVAIL!! I tried each 2 sided settings twice. All I get is 2 blanks and 1 copy of each original. HELP!!

I have another question and don't know when to post.  I am trying to add an additional computer wireless to my HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 N911a.  It did work wireless for a while and now I can't get it to print wireless.  My computer is not wireless is that the problem?

SuperDave, I understand that duplex printing is set in the software, but what about copying? I'm having the same problems when I copy.  That software is inherent to the printer itself, correct?

I did find a less than elegant workaround. I just use the document feed tray and it does print out one-sided.  Even so, after completing the copy of the one side, the HP pulls the paper back in (almost as though it were going to print a second side), hesitates and then ejects the copy.  Of course, this needless section action slows down print speed.

I do need faster copies.

Only an idiot would produce software that cannot be changed to print on one side!  Mine worked fine until and update I did not want changed the settings.
