In the scan presents to save to a standard shared network folder, the UNC Folder Path has to identify the network machine via an IP address, and not the name of the machine. For example, the machine name is MAX that has an IP of 192.168.1.70;
- '\\MAX\scans' gives an error
- '\\192.168.1.70\scans' works fine
The error is, "The network folder path specified does not exist."
Toggling the use of a 'Windows Domain:' ("Workgroup") does not make a difference.
The name of the machine used to work a couple years ago. I'm not sure what changed.
Does anyone know where this could be going wrong?

One thing may be a change in the DNS setting in your network, preventing the printer from resolving IP addresses. Check the DNS setting under the network tab of the EWS.

Thank you @Repairatrooper, the DNS settings in the EWS were incorrect, but that hasn't solved the issue.
But I may not have all the DNS settings correct. For example,
- I've tried IPv4 information for DNS from both my WAN, and from MS Windows.
- Should the 'IP Configuration Method' be DHCP?
