WHILE SCANNING TO MY EMAIL I AM GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGES ON MY PANEL "USERNAME OR PASSWORD IS INCORRECT.  I DON'T OR CAN'T FIND HOW TO CORRECT EITHER IN MY PRINTER OR WHY NOW I AM GETTING THIS ERROR WHEN I HAVE BEEN SCANNING FROM THIS PRINTING FOR A LONG TIME.  PLEASE HELP.  MY LAPTOP IS A MAC BOOK PRO NOT USING THE OPERATING SYSTEM OF WINDOW.

If you have changed the password of your e-mail account, then the same should be changed in the scan to e-mail settings.

Follow the steps below to change the e-mail settings.

  • On the Printer Control Panel, touch the Wireless/Ethernet icon
  • Obtain the IP address of the printer
  • Open a web browser and Type the IP address into the Internet browser address line, and then press Enter to open the printer EWS.

            

  • If a website security certificate displays, click Continue to access the EWS page.

          

  • Go to the Scan menu > Select Scan to E-mail > Outgoing E-Mail Profiles

  • Check the User ID and the Password Section. Enter the correct details and save the changes.
  • Try scanning a document again
