I'm am unable to Scan to Network Folder. I always get the following error message:

"cannot find the remote server.  Check server name or use IP Address to connect. Check that the remote computer is turned on."

I've believe I've properly identified the folder in the network path field in the Scan to Network Folder section of HP Smart:

\\c:\users\[myusername]\onedrive\personal\HP Scan Folder

Which server does this refer to? I'm connected to my home network.  Which IP Address does this refer to? The computer IP address or the printer? The remote computer I'm trying to scan to is the computer I'm using to configure the Scan to Network Folder, so it is by definition on.

Very frustrating. Any solutions welcome.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I recommend you enable SMB on your computer. Follow the below steps to Enable SMB.

Programs and features > turn on windows feature > SMB 1.0 CIFS Server > reboot PC.

Let me know if this helps.

Your path does not look correct. A scan location will be formatter like this:

\\computername\location

What you show is \\c:\users\[myusername]\onedrive\personal\HP Scan Folder

replace the C: with the name or ip address of your computer and it should work.
