Unable to Sept Up Scan to Network Folder (macOS Catalina 10.15.5)

Hello,

I just purchased a HP OfficeJet Pro 9016 and I am unable to configure Scan to Network Folder  with macOS Catalina 10.15.5 operating system. Both printer and operating system are up to date.

I have followed these instructions, but I haven't been able to figure out my mistake.

Using smb://macbook-air.fios-router.home, fo

• When I use the path \\macbook-air.fios-router.home\ScanToFolder with my credentials exactly as displayed on my user, and I get the following error: Incorrect credentials. Check your username/password and try again.
• Same path but I do not use credentials, I get the error: The printer is unable to connect to the remote destination. Check your configurations and try again.
• When I use the path \\###.###.#.###\ScanToFolder (IP exactly copied off Network Summary @ EWS), I get this error: The printer is unable to connect to the remote destination. Check your configurations and try again.
• Again, same path but no credentials: The printer is unable to connect to the remote destination. Check your configurations and try again.

I made sure the time in my printer and MacBook match.

I made sure all users have Read & Write access.

I attempted uninstalling printer and HP Smart.

I even tried from my iMac, and I get same errors.

I do not have a Windows, only two Apple computers.

I am able to scan but I want to be able to use Scan to Network feature.

I know this has been asked several times, and I attempted all other solutions but they have not worked for me. I did contact HP, hoping they would be able to help me remotely, and they told me to go to Apple. 

I simply want to easily scan to network folder since HP does allow mac OS to Scan to Computer. I cannot find HP Utility anywhere since it has been "discontinued".

Cannot scan to my computer.  Printer is OfficeJet Pro 8720, computer is an iMac, OS 10.15.5 Catalina.  Using HP Smart, the printer does not recognize the computer, wants HP Utility which is not available.  This makes no sense.  Assistance would be appreciated, perhaps an update to HP Smart, maybe an update to HP Utility.  There is a convoluted work-around using the System Preferences Printers & Scanners, works but less than desirable.
