I can no longer scan using my HP6830. I get an error message saying "the software for ”%@ could not be run" (in Swedish
programvaran för ”%@” kunde inte köras.)
The problems began just after I installed a new printer HP M254DW yesterday.
When using HP Easy scan I get the above mentioned error message. I am not able to print using the 6830 because the printer heads are totally dry so I used it for scanner purposes only. I have disconnected the cord and restarted the 6830 but it does not work.
Any solution so I can use the scanner again?

Open the HP Easy Scan App, try scanning.
Share a snapshot of the error message on the screen.

@Swedbordergd, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Are you able to make copies on the printer?
Is the printer connected through a USB or wireless?
Try scanning through the System Preferences, follow the steps below:
Go to System Preferences> Printers and Scanners > Select the printer on the left side of the window
Once you have selected the HP Officejet 6830, select Scan option on the right side
See if that works.
If everything seems okay, you can try to remove and add the HP Easy Scan. Follow the steps below:
1.) Open Finder and click Applications
2.) Move HP Easy Scan App to Trash and clear the Trash.
3.) Open Finder then click Go and Click Home.
4.) Click View then Click Show View Options. Check the box Show Library Folder.
The change is instantaneous and the Library folder will immediately become visible.
5.) Open Library and Open Application Support, move HP Easy Scan folder to Trash and clear the Trash.
Now download the HP Easy Scan App from the App Store and try scanning.
Let me know if this helps.
