We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Message on the printer screen is "Unable to scan,copy or send a fax". 

 

Have had contining problems scanning since I installed this printer over a year ago. Now it will not copy either. (I do not use the fax feature.)

 

The latest HP sofware for my operting system is installed.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to scan and copy.

 

Don’t worry, we will work together to resolve this issue and It’s a pleasure to assist you in this regard.

 

Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

 

1: While powered on, remove the power cord & connect after 30 seconds

2: Try plugging into a wall outlet directly without the surge protector.

3: Check if the scanner bar moves when you open the lid & press the copy button.

 

If the scanner bar does not move or light up, I suggest you contact phone support to check the available service options for your printer.

 

Follow below steps to contact phone support.

 

Open link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/

Enter Product number or select to auto detects

Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

Scroll down and click on HP contact options - click on Get phone number.
