I have a HP 5740e All In One printer. Can not scan anything to my computer. Ran HP Scan Doctor and found out that the Scan WIA won't run. Went to services to try and start WIA but it will not work. Scan Doctor shows me 5 different printers all HP's
1. says network and 3 say net and a number after that and the last one says series. Also I found that one of the HP Printers was a number that read HPE304B3 (HP Office jet 5740 series). I even remove all the printers and all the software . Restarted the computer and reloaded all the software back to the printer but still got the same resolves.
Any help

I see that you are facing an issue with scanning from your printer.
A) Please follow the steps below to perform a power drain.
1) Take out the cartridges
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
