Hello,

When I'm selecting the scan option on the printer(hp deskjet 3545), it is sending the command to my laptop(scan to computer) but I want the document to be scanned directly on the printer and take a print like a xerox machine. I have tried disabling the  "ScantoPCActivation" in the task manager which did not work out. Previously I could scan and print directly on the printer but after the OS update it wouldn't do that. Kindly help me sort this issue.

Thank You,

Vishnu.

@Vishnu16, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

What you are trying to do is called "Copying'. Kindly refer to this document - How to Make Copies

Scanning is where you convert a hard copy to a soft copy.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
