Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I am unable to scan to my computer using Apple Image Capture or HP Easy Scan despite the printer working.

 

When I try completing an Overview Scan using Apple Image Capture, the request times out. When I try using HP Easy Scan, I get the following error message: "Scanner reported an error The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.imagecapture error 4294967249.)"

 

I have tried the steps in this previous answer (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Scanning-Faxing-Copying/Scanning-issue/td-p/7277144), but that did not resolve the issue. I have also checked for any available updates and re-installed the printer to my computer.
