I keep getting message "Couldn't connect to scanner"

Check Connections:

  • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your network, whether via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. If it's a wireless connection, try moving the printer closer to the router or resetting your router.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart your printer, computer, and router. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.

Update HP Smart App:

  • Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed. Check for updates in your app store or on the HP website.

Reinstall HP Smart App:

  • Try uninstalling and reinstalling the HP Smart app. This can resolve issues related to app-specific bugs or configuration problems.

Check Printer Settings:

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to the network settings and make sure the printer is connected to the correct network. Also, check if there are any settings related to scanning that might need to be adjusted.

Update Printer Firmware:
