When I scan 11x17, I get and computer saves a 8.5x17. Where is the rest and how do I save 11x17?

Scan using HP Scan (printer software - installed with the Full Feature Software)

Scan from the printer glass / flatbed - change the Source in your printer software to "glass" / "flatbed"

Set the Page Size to the "entire field"  / "Entire Scan Area" (wording may vary)

Some printer software supports Page Size "Detect Content on Page" / "Auto Detect Size" (wording may vary)
