@Admintexas, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding a print issue!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It sounds like the issue might be related to how the scanned document is being saved or converted into Word format, which could cause formatting issues. Try these steps:
Check the Scanning Settings:
- Ensure that the scanner settings are set to save the document in a format that preserves the original formatting. It might be best to scan the document in a PDF format first, which maintains formatting better than Word.
Save as PDF First:
- Instead of scanning directly into Word, try saving the scanned document as a PDF and then opening it in Word to see if the formatting is still off.
Update Printer Drivers:
- Ensure that the HP ENVY Photo 7855 drivers are updated. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause issues with scanning and formatting. Visit the HP Support website to download the latest drivers for Windows 11.
Use OCR Software:
- If you’re using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for text recognition in Word, make sure the OCR software is set up properly. Sometimes, OCR can misinterpret text, causing formatting issues. Consider using a dedicated OCR tool for better accuracy.
Adjust Word Settings:
- In Word, go to "File" > "Options" > "Advanced," and under "Compatibility options," make sure the settings are set to match your document’s format. This may help prevent any formatting issues when pasting or importing text.
Check Word Template or Style Settings:
- It’s also possible that the Word template or style settings are not compatible with the formatting from the scan. Try clearing the Word template or changing the style settings in Word.
Let me know if it works!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
