When i tryto scan it won't work and I get this message: ERROR CODE 0X00829C98 HW_WATCHDOG C

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

If I want to scan a document I turn on my computer use HP Smart to reach my HP ENVY Photo 6234 Printer. HP Smart is connecting to my printer - so far so good. When I click on Scan in HP Smart and look at my printer I get this message:

ERROR CODE

OXOO829C98

HW_WATCHDOG C

and nothing more happens. 

there is only one thing I can do, I have to take out the cable from the printer because I can't even turn it off.

When my printer starts again with the cable on again, everything is fine, I can scan with no trouble at all.

Can anyone help me?

I don't have any problems when I'm printing, only when I am scanning
