I can't find the scans I make using HP Smart software. iMac M1 Ventura. Where are they?

I can answer my own question. I don't know what happened the first time I scanned, but the second time a bar popped up at the bottom of the scan window with SAVE as a choice. It just saved to the desktop. No problems now.
