They must be stored somewhere because I have the option to resend from the Sent Log tab.  I'd like to include those sent faxes in my backups.  I have an Office Jet Pro L7580 and I'm running Windows XP.

I'd like to ask the same question for the Received faxes.

Thanks.

If you scan a document or picture using Windows Fax and Scan, the files are stored in your Scanned Documents folder, which is located in the Documents folder on your computer.

If you scan using Windows Photo Gallery, the files are stored in the Pictures folder on your computer.

If you scan using a different scanning program, the program will typically allow you to choose a location or folder in which to store your scanned files. For more information, see the Help for the program.

I almost never scan a document to fax it; I simply compose it on my computer.  Then I use the "print" feature and choose HP OfficeJet Fax as my printer.  The fax program that is bundled with Windows saves the documents as image files, but as far as I can tell, the HP program doesn't.  There are no documents in the folders you mentioned.

Thanks for trying..........

rontiara,

I found mine as follows.  Your exact path and folder names will be slightly different, but this should lead you in the general direction.  Also, the fax pages were stored as .jpg images.

Local Disk (C:) > Program Data > HP > Digital Imaging > hp photosmart 2600 series > 1498086192 > My Faxes > 598EF1D5

Good Luck,

Andy
