Hello,

Trying to scan documents that have two sides. In searching HP site, looks like this may be an issue for "HP Smart" or some printers. Can someone please clarify if "HP Smart" can be used to scan both sides of a document?

 

Also, please let me know which, if any, HP printers have the ability to auto scan both sides of a document.

Welcome to the HP Community --

 

The apps and software support the features the printer hardware supports.

 

Note that regardless of whether a feature is listed in an app or program, the support for that feature is hardware dependent.

 

At this writing, Top-of-Line InkJet

HP OfficeJet Pro 9020e series supports automatic single pass 2-sided scan.

HP OfficeJet Pro 9010e series supports automatic dual pass 2-sided scan.

 

Just FYI - some people seem to miss this detail...

The OfficeJet 8000 series do not support automatic 2-sided scan, not single pass and not dual pass.
