Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

 

We know of 2 models that do single pass Duplex scan :

 

1. HP OfficeJet Pro 8730/8740 (2 paper tray)

2. HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 (A3/B-size printer with 2 paper tray as well)

Hi

Suppliers website said HP Photosmart 8710 did double sided scanning.

I bought one and it does.

I think this forum needs correct information and your website too.

This is what you asked for - a single pass duplex scanning.

 

The 2 models suggested did just that - a single pass duplex scanning.

 

The model you bought - the HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 (can't find any Photosmart 8710) does duplex scanning as well, but it pulls back the document to scan the 2nd side, which is 2 pass duplex scanning.
